At Honiton BC yesterday Kingsley ladies Jenny Rhodes, Jude Ford, Allyson Hayes and Jan Hines , one of our sets of fours, won their semi final beating Madeira 23-13 and are now through to the final. They will play Plymouth at Torbay in March (16th/17th). Fantastic news well done ladies.
On Saturday Kingsley played Madeira in the Quarter Finals of the Charles Parrott Trophy. Having received a bye in the first round we were hoping to progress to the Semi-Finals. Madeira had already beated Torquay Utd. in the first round so we knew we were in for a tough match. With one rink at home and one away, we were fairing quite well at the half way stage, just three points down overall. Unfortunately Kingsley didn't do so well in the second half, eventually losing 30:48 overall. Congratulations go to Madeira, we wish them well in the Semi-Finals.
